Amputee Veterans are invited to join us for the Philadelphia VA Medical Center's second annual First Swing Golf Clinic! The golf clinic is a one-day event designed to teach amputee Veterans basic golf swing techniques and/or assist in perfecting existing skills. Golf Professionals will be assigned to each participant to assist them throughout the day in learning and practicing the game.
Veterans will have the opportunity to learn a new sport, socialize and network with fellow service men and women from the local area, and gain exposure to resources in their community.
The goal of the clinic is to provide amputee veterans with a new avenue for rehabilitation and recreation. Introducing a new sport can allow new opportunities for growth not only physically, but mentally, and socially.

The Amputee Veteran First Swing Golf Clinic is made possible through donated funds. With the help of generous individuals and companies amputee veterans will have the opportunity to learn a new sport and continue their rehabilitation process through recreation and socialization.
